I’ve spent most of my professional life travelling in my roles to the extent in my last long-held role I visited 25+ countries to carry out training and deliver workshops. My prior roles over the last 12 years straddled both Education and Publishing, where I have been an Educator, Trainer and more recently a Presentation Skills and Confidence Building Coach.
I enjoy getting to the heart of people, to their core, understanding them and giving them space to truly excel as a person both professionally and personally.
The beauty of travelling to over 25+ countries has given me such a deep insight into how people learn, understand, bond and perceive the world - this experience has allowed me to develop my own sense of self whilst also creating the content/workshops that are tailored to a variety of people, personality types and being aware, and sensitive of peoples cultures while still being relatable, personable and engaging in the content being delivered.
In my free time, I enjoy photography, and this subject naturally combined with travelling over the years has been a dream combination - I find pictures capture a lot more than words can ever convey and so I always found this to be incredibly rewarding personally in capturing atmospheric, meaningful and thought-provoking moments.
I also particularly enjoy writing, specifically poetry and I am fascinated by the impact language can have, and the deeper emotional responses it can create. It is a form of art.
In tandem with all the above is of course travelling, but that is a constant throughout my life - I particularly enjoyed Japan, embracing its unique culture which despite travelling all over the world, I’ve yet to find an equal to Japanese culture and all of its idiosyncrasies!
