I was born in Liverpool and performed in my first professional production at the age of 7 as a choir member in Bill Kenwright's production of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat'. From this moment on, I was hooked on performing and went on to perform professionally in 'Whistle Down the Wind', 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'Tosca' the opera. Having this as a creative outlet as a child was very important to me and has made me into the person that I am today. After completing my A-levels, I trained in musical theatre for four years at SLP College in Leeds. After my training finished, I moved straight to London to pursue my acting career. I have performed in several professional productions since graduating in the UK and in Germany, both on stage and screen. Between performing jobs, I qualified as a fitness instructor as I have always believed you should only do what you enjoy, and health and fitness is another one of my passions.
Over the last couple of years, theatre in education has become a very important part of my life. I have thoroughly enjoyed touring schools to perform plays and carry out educational workshops with students. This has been incredibly rewarding for me, as theatre was so important to my education as a child, and it feels great to be able to give back in this way. Whilst touring the UK last year with an educational show called 'Space School' (which taught critical thinking skills as well as basic astronomy), I continued my professional development and qualified as a personal trainer. I now enjoy training people privately six days a week, creating bespoke plans to help them to achieve their own personal health and fitness goals.
