Teaching Experience

My vigorous passion for international language education and my avid interest in cultures made me excel in teaching international curricula in different languages, like the IGCSE, IB, IELTS, SAT, DELF, ACTFEL, and more. I taught all subjects related to language skills, linguistics, literature, and philosophy. My students got their desired scores in standardised tests thanks to revealing the latest exam secrets and designing a goal-action plan tailored for each student. I address exactly their needs, abilities, and points of improvement.

Testimonials:

Sam from SOAS University of London:

“I’ve been taking Arabic classes with Cha?maà Moukhtar for two years, and they’ve been great. She is a brilliant teacher, and I recommend her to those of you learning Arabic. She is generous with her time and imaginative in her approach. So much so that even a goldfish like me can make meaningful progress. Cha?maà is rigorous and diligent in her approach and has a winning sense of humour. She is sensitive to my interests and flexible to my work commitments, always seeking to accelerate my learning. A choice example of where she has been particularly innovative is with the weekly five-minute Arabic grammar podcasts she makes for me. Not to mention that her style in translation is eloquent. I have recommended her services to friends and acquaintances. Beyond her excellent teaching skills, Cha?maà is a strikingly independent and impressive person.”

Raman from Oxford University

“Cha?maà brings a unique approach into the class. She uses imaginative and unprecedented ideas. Her methods and games I haven’t seen before, even in Oxford. She creates useful material, helpful organised podcasts, and tailored stuff to address our needs and targets. She is cheerful and friendly so much so that we love her classes. We can proceed for long hours without getting bored or tired”

About Chaimaa M

I am an avid Arabic, English, and French teacher for foreign learners with almost 18 years of hands-on experience. Being an ardent researcher and editor who facilitates publishing many types of research worldwide in top-notch academic journals, I review my students’ pieces of research. Hence, I became their friend and mentor for many years.

After years of dedication, I became a project manager and PR specialist in various intercultural organisations which run business, humanitarian, educational, and cultural projects.  Moreover, I am doing my Ph.D. in languages, translation, education, and business in the U.S. which allows me to teach language in business contexts. This experience and my good reputation as a language teacher attract researchers in companies to subscribe to my classes. They learn languages that made them acquire better analytical skills in economics and risk management to get promoted. I also teach language and etiquette to customer service representatives and flight attendees.

As an experienced translator, interpreter, and content writer who is fond of language and rhetoric, I worked with UN delegates worldwide to translate Arabic UN documents and news. Two of my most prominent Arabic language students were the Spanish and French Ambassadors in Egypt.  I taught content writing skills, creative writing, poetry, and speech writing. I worked as a journalist and a broadcaster which made me use my “mellifluous voice”, as my students say, to create fun animated podcasts, to summarise the curricula and lessons.
