I was born in Rome in 1996 and have always lived between London and Rome. In 2012, I settled in the UK for my A-levels and higher education. Throughout my academic career, I have had the most inspiring teachers who have supported me in finding my passion and helped me achieve my goals. Due to my very positive experience with education, I have been motivated to teach myself. My goal is to teach at a university in the future.
Since graduating, I have been sharing a studio with other artists in South East London. Within our studio's community, I have organised and led monthly seminars, where artists from other studios come together to discuss and critique our artworks. This has helped me to continue developing the conversational and inquisitive skills I have acquired during my five years at art school.
It has also been extremely useful to acquire these skills as I have been able to use and adapt them whilst teaching my students. As a teacher and a mentor, I am constantly trying to find different approaches for different people, always according to their needs and perspectives.
Since 2015, I have been exhibiting my art in group shows both in London and Rome. I have also organised and curated exhibitions and performative events myself. This has provided me with organisational skills as well as the ability to be resourceful and adaptable, especially when working with many different artists.
