Teaching Experience

After getting my PGCE in primary school education, I became a primary school teacher, teaching classes from Reception through Year 6. I have also worked as a freelance gallery educator, teaching museum workshops for primary schools, high schools and adults. Currently, I teach knitting in group lessons and one-to-one, working with beginners and advanced knitters of all ages. In addition, I can teach simple to complex techniques, covering all aspects of knitting techniques.

About Jane H

I'm a qualified school teacher living in London with my family. I love teaching students of all ages, and I am now indulging my passion by teaching knitting online. I have been a knitter since my mother taught me to knit as a teenager. I love to knit all kinds of garments for my family and friends.

My other interest is museum and gallery education, having delivered multiple workshops in museums. I thoroughly enjoy learning through artefacts, which led me to obtain a master's in museum and gallery education.
